| Our Woven Polypropylene Sandbags are treated for UV (ultra violet sun exposure). When exposed to the sun they have an approximate useful life of 3 to 5 years. If the sandbags are covered from direct sun ultra violet exsposure these Polypropylene Sand Bags will last almost indefinitely. Each sandbag features a hemmed top, Flat woven and double sewn seams enhance durability. Our polypropylene bags can also be used for feed, grains, beans, etc. The tight flat weave is designed to hold and maintain a superior seal for flood control and will last longer than burlap bags when uncovered. Each bags includes an attached cord provided for sealing bag quickly on the fly, or bags may be filled halfway and flap folded over for maximum jointing for levee placement.
